Karyological Study of Five Species <i>Boesenbergia</i> (Zingiberaceae) in Thailand

The karyology of five species Boesenbergia (B. collinsii, B. pulcherrima, rotunda, thorellii and xyphostachya) (Zingiberaceae) in Thailand are investigated. chromosome number karyotype formula the 2n=20 (8m+10sm+2st) 2n=36 (8m+18sm+10st) 2n=38 (18m+14sm+6st) (30m+8sm with one satellite) 2n=22 (6m+6sm+10st two satellites) xyphostachya, respectively. Three pulcherrima have new chromosomal counts. fundamental (NF) all this study were reported for first time. Satellites observed xyphostachya.
