چکیده
Atmospheric neutrinos are one of the most relevant natural neutrino sources that can be exploited to infer properties about cosmic rays and oscillations. The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) experiment, a 20 kton liquid scintillator detector with excellent energy resolution is currently under construction in China. JUNO will able detect several atmospheric per day given large volume. A study on detection reconstruction capabilities $\nu_e$ $\nu_\mu$ fluxes presented this paper. In study, sample Monte Carlo events has been generated, starting from theoretical models, then processed by simulation. timing 3'' PMT light system much higher yield for scintillation over Cherenkov allow measure time structure very high precision. Since interactions produce slightly different pattern, evolution allows discriminate flavor primary neutrinos. probabilistic unfolding method used, order spectrum experimental observables. simulated reconstructed between 100 MeV 10 GeV, showing great potential low region.

Low Energy Atmospheric Neutrino Events in MACRO
The flux of low energy atmospheric neutrinos (Eν ∼ 4 GeV ) has been studied with the MACRO detector at Gran Sasso by detecting νμ interactions inside the apparatus, and by upward-going stopping muons. The updated analysis of the data collected until now with the complete apparatus will be presented. The results show a deficit of the measured number of events in an uniform way over the whole zen...
متن کاملReconstructing supernova-neutrino spectra using low-energy beta beams.
Neutrinos are the principal messengers reaching us from the center of a supernova. Terrestrial neutrino telescopes can provide precious information about the processes in the core of the star. But the information that a neutrino detector can supply is restricted by the fact that little experimental data on the neutrino-nucleus cross sections exist and by the uncertainties in theoretical calcula...
متن کاملThe San Onofre Reactor Neutrino Experiment a Low Energy Test of the Atmospheric Neutrino Anomaly
The long-standing solar neutrino deecit and the anomaly in the ratio of electron to muon neutrinos, found for neutrinos generated in the atmosphere, are intriguing hints at the existence of nite neutrino masses and avor mixing. Our collaboration is preparing a low energy long baseline-oscillation experiment, to test the latter phenomenon. A 12 ton segmented, Gd loaded liquid scintillation detec...
متن کاملRadiative corrections to low-energy neutrino reactions
We show that the radiative corrections to charged current ~CC! nuclear reactions with an electron ~positron! in the final state are described by a universal function. The consistency of our treatment of the radiative corrections with the procedure used to extract the value of the axial coupling constant gA is discussed. To illustrate we apply our results to ~anti! neutrino deuterium disintegrat...
