چکیده

Abstract Based on the Einstein-Maxwell theory, Joule-Thomson (J-T) expansion of charged dilatonic black holes(the solutions are neither flat nor AdS) for (n + 1)-dimensional spacetime is studied. To this end, we analyze effects dimensions n and dilaton field ? J-T expansion. The explicit expression coefficient derived, as a result, negative heat capacity leads to cooling process. In contrast effect dimension, inversion curve decreases with charge Q at low pressure while an opposite result obtained high pressure. We can see that increase dimension or parameter ?, both cut-off point minimum temperature Tmin change. Moreover, concerning ratio Tmin/Tc, it numerically find independent charge, whereas depends dimension. As = 3 0, 1/2. It found enhances ratio. addition, identify cooling-heating regions by investigating isenthalpic curves, behavior mass Mmin shows transition may not happen under some special conditions.

Global Properties of Charged Dilatonic Gauss-bonnet Black Holes

We study the phase space of the spherically symmetric solutions of Einstein-Maxwell-Gauss-Bonnet system nonminimally coupled to a scalar field and prove the existence of solutions with unusual asymptotics in addition to asymptotically flat ones. We also find new dyonic solutions of dilatonic Einstein-Maxwell theory.

Fermions tunnelling from the charged dilatonic black holes

Kerner and Mann’s recent work shows that, for an uncharged and non-rotating black hole, its Hawking temperature can be correctly derived by fermions tunnelling from its horizons. In this paper, our main work is to improve the analysis to deal with charged fermion tunnelling from the general dilatonic black holes, specifically including the charged, spherically symmetric dilatonic black hole, th...

Constant threshold correction to electrically charged dilatonic black holes

We investigate the effect of a constant threshold correction to a general nonextreme, static, spherically symmetric, electrically charged black hole solution of the dilatonic Einstein-Maxwell Lagrangian, with an arbitrary coupling β between the electromagnetic tensor and the dilaton field. For a small β, an exact analytical solution is obtained. For an arbitrary β, a close form solution, up to ...

Electrically charged dilatonic black rings

In this note we present (electrically) charged dilatonic black ring solutions of the EinsteinMaxwell-dilaton theory in five dimensions and we consider their physical properties. These solutions are static and as in the neutral case possess a conical singularity. We show how one may remove the conical singularity by application of a Harrison transformation, which physically corresponds to suppor...

Evaporation and fate of dilatonic black holes.

We study both spherically symmetric and rotating black holes with dilaton coupling, and discuss the evaporation of these black holes via Hawking’s quantum radiation and their fates. We find that the dilaton coupling constant α drastically affects the emission rates, and therefore the fates of the black holes. When the charge is conserved, the emission rate from the non-rotating hole is drastica...
