Joint Spatio-Temporal Analysis of Various Wildfire and Drought Indicators in Indonesia

Wildfires are well known as annual disasters in Indonesia. More than 3 million ha was burned the last 5 years. During an extreme event such 2019, carbon emissions can cause smog neighboring countries Malaysia and Singapore. Though difficult to predict, many hotspots that appear be used indicate emergence of large-scale wildfires. The objective this research is provide suggestions terms variables when analyzing fire indication (hotspot), scale (burned area), impact (carbon emissions). This provides a spatio-temporal analysis dependency between drought (precipitation its derivative variables) indicators (hotspot, area, emission). different characteristics each indicator find joint patterns areas, hotspots, emissions. Overall, using potential evapotranspiration precipitation calculate climate water balance gives great results all analysis. Precipitation anomalies give best spatial pattern describe wildfire events area with monsoonal rainfall. Meanwhile, better by capturing more temporal pattern, even on robust
