چکیده

Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has emerged as an appealing solution to enhance wireless communication performance by reconfiguring the propagation environment. In this paper, we propose apply IRS physical-layer service integration (PHY-SI) system, where a single-antenna access point (AP) integrates two sorts of messages, i.e., multicast message and confidential message, via superposition coding serve multiple users. Our goal is optimize power allocation (for transmitting different messages) at AP passive beamforming maximize achievable secrecy rate region. To end, formulate problem bi-objective optimization problem, which shown equivalent maximization subject constraints on quality service. Due non-convexity customized algorithms obtain its high-quality suboptimal solutions, thereby approximately characterizing The resulting gap with globally optimal analyzed. Furthermore, provide theoretical analysis unveil impact PHY-SI. Numerical results demonstrate advantages leveraging in improving PHY-SI also validate our analysis.

Joint Power Allocation and Beamforming for Cooperative Networks

In this paper, we investigate power allocation problem with the use of transmit beamforming in a dual hop MISO (multiple input single output) relay channel. We consider either amplify and forward (AF) or decode and forward (DF) cooperative protocols at the relay and optimize the power allocated to the relay and the source, under total transmit power constraint, to minimize the bit error rate (B...

Joint power and feedback bit allocation for energy- efficient design in limited-feedback coordinated beamforming systems

Energy efficiency (EE) has become an important design goal for future cellular systems. In this paper, we study the EE problem for limited-feedback coordinated beamforming systems providing real-time services with constant date rate. To maximize the EE, we jointly optimize the transmit power among users and the feedback bits of each user to quantize the desired and interfering channel direction...

Joint Beamforming and Power Allocation based on CSI

Traditional beamforming and power control algo-rithms in cognitive radio (CR) are based on the assumption of perfect channel state information (CSI) however; this may lead to performance degradation in realistic systems. In this paper, the problem of joint beamforming and power control is investigated in underlay CR networks with imperfect CSI. Our objective is to maximize the sum utility of se...

A Comparison between Different Meta-Heuristic Techniques in Power Allocation for Physical Layer Security

Node cooperation can protect wireless networks from eavesdropping by using the physical characteristics of wireless channels rather than cryptographic methods. Allocating the proper amount of power to cooperative nodes is a challenging task. In this paper, we use three cooperative nodes, one as relay to increase throughput at the destination and two friendly jammers to degrade eavesdropper&rsqu...

Joint Power Allocation for Multicast Systems with Physical-Layer Network Coding

This paper addresses the joint power allocation issue in physical-layer network coding (PLNC) of multicast systems with two sources and two destinations communicating via a large number of distributed relays. By maximizing the achievable system rate, a constrained optimization problem is first formulated to jointly allocate powers for the source and relay terminals. Due to the nonconvex nature ...
