In today’s information-driven society, the Japanese government envisions next societal revolution as “Society 5.0,” where advanced technologies and service platforms integrate with empower individuals in a human-based society. While Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) education has traditionally focused on technical skills knowledge isolation, this paper will look at potential role benefits of incorporating liberal arts into these studies. This concept integrating STEM is known STEAM. The purpose study to create foundation for clarifying interdisciplinary overcoming vertical division academic disciplines restoring “integrated nature” scholarship. seeks show how humanities, social sciences, can be used enhance education, and, furthermore, STEAM approach key enabling Japan’s vision Society 5.0.
