چکیده
The Japanese Nosocomial Infections Surveillance (JANIS) is one of the largest national antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance systems in world. In particular, JANIS Clinical Laboratory (CL) division collects comprehensive specimen-based data from diagnostic microbiology laboratories participating hospitals to monitor isolation rate 11 major bacteria and specific AMR bacteria, creating antibiograms approximately 20 bacterial species. Data web-database system are also annually tabulated provided WHO Global Antimicrobial Resistance System (GLASS). To create a network international among Asian countries, Japan developing an named ASIan Network (ASIARS-Net) based on system, but open-source available confidentially at almost no cost. further continues evolve multiple directions, some which selected discussed end this review.
