چکیده
Sustainable agriculture aims to eliminate the excessive usage of chemical fertilizers and can be crucial for soil fertility. A factorial pot experiment in a randomized complete block design was carried out King Khaled International Airport Nursery, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during 2019/2020, evaluate role biofertilizer (i.e., Bio-Fert, nitrogen-fixing microorganisms; Biot-Phos, phosphorus-released microorganism; Bio-Potas, potassium-released microorganisms, either alone or combinations) slow-release compound fertilizer (Osmocote), with without compost, on Pelargonium peltatum plant growth, flowering, chlorophyll level, ion percentage. Soil amendment compost general significantly increased growth flowering attributes as well nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), potassium (K) percentage over garden (without compost). All traits level were by treatments combinations. The supreme treatment triple interaction single double interactions untreated plants. Osmocote application increases levels, ions, vegetative relative Additionally, data also revealed that all between osmocote biofertilizers studied each control Accordingly, it is recommended add along mixture obtaining high

Influence of biochar, mycorrhizal inoculation, and fertilizer rate on growth and flowering of Pelargonium (Pelargonium zonale L.) plants
Peat is the most common substrate used in nurseries despite being a very expensive and a non-renewable material. Peat replacement with biochar could be a sound environmental practice, as it is produced from waste biomass, but evaluation of biochar as a potting substrate is needed. Ratios of peat:biochar of 100:0, 70:30, 30:70 (BC0, BC30, and BC70, respectively), two fertilizer rates (FERT1, FER...

Application of bio-fertilizers and organic compounds is a way to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. In order to study the effects of organic compounds and phosphate bio-fertilizer on some quantitative and qualitative attributes of ivy geranium (Pelargonium peltatum), a factorial experiment based on randomized complete blocks design (RCBD) was carried out using two factors including phospha...
متن کاملSunflower morphology and yield as affected by foliar applications of plant growth regulators
Plant height of sunflower is a major agronomic trait affecting crop performance in the field and its adaptation to mechanical harvest. Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of foliar application of paclobutrazol (PBZ) at 12.5 g ai/ha, mepiquat chloride (MPC) at 25.0 g ai/ha and chlormequat chloride (CCC) at 1,500 g ai/ha in single or double applications on sunflower plant mor...
متن کاملAzotobacter : A Plant Growth - Promoting Rhizobacteria Used as Biofertilizer
Nitrogen fixation is mainly responsible for improvement of crop yield. In this regard, diazotrophs like Rhizobium, Azotobacter and Azospirillum are important as they enrich nitrogen nutrition in N-deficient soils. Of these, Azotobacter promotes plant growth as well as nitrogen fixation. Thus technology has been developed for making use of Azotobacter biofertilizer for nitrogen and non-nitrogen ...
