ITRF Densification in Cyprus

Abstract The aim of this paper is to present the results from GNSS-based densification International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) in region Cyprus. regional network used for task consists nine permanent GNSS Cypriot stations (eight existing CYPOS plus NICO station which belongs global IGS network) and 34 additional EUREF Permanent Network (EPN) are mostly located continental part Europe. data project include daily observations at above within a period 62 months (30/11/2011–28/01/2017). study was carried out using resources CyCLOPS strategic research infrastructure unit. A robust procedure designed processing Bernese software v5.2 installed operating center. multi-year solution computed by combining constraint-free solutions normal equations stacking strategy. reference frame IGb08 it enforced through no-net-translation condition on positions velocities 24 EPN (Class A) stations. quality verified comparing estimated with their official EPN_A_IGb08_C1934 values, reveals minimal differences (<1 mm/year) all both horizontal up components.
