Isothermal section of the Al2O3–TiO2–La2O3 phase diagram at 1400 °C is constructed for first time. It part systematic investigations Al2O3–TiO2–Ln2O3 (Ln = lanthanides, Y) systems. The was taken as temperature, which no liquid expected in system. Samples were prepared by a chemical method. annealed air 80 hour sand cooled furnace. Phases samples determined XRD analysis. New phases and appreciable homogeneity regions based on components binary compounds not found. consists six narrow two-phase seven three-phase regions. Triangulation system La2Ti2O7, equilibrium with Al2TiO5, LaAlO3 TiO2 Al2O3. Formation La4Ti9O24, La2Ti3O12 La2TiO5 boundary TiO2–La2O3 causes appearance partially quasibinary sections Al2TiO5–La4Ti9O24, Al2TiO5–La2Ti3O12 LaAlO3–La2TiO5. obtained results make significant contribution to understanding interactions between studied. includes high electro-optical, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, photocatalytic properties, mikrowave dielectric ceramic. In addition, we expects existence new eutectics, can be form high-temperature structural materials directional solidification.
