چکیده
Objective: Almost all year round occurrence of typhoid fever remains a major public health issue in Bangladesh. In recent years, there has been significant rise the prevalence multi-drug resistance Salmonella typhi Dhaka city. The objective this study was to observe and Extended drug-resistant patterns typhoidal among patients attending tertiary medical center by conventional culture serologic test. Materials Methods: Blood collected syringe equally divided between aerobic & anaerobic BacT Alert bottle, 10 mL for paediatrics. Post isolation strains were identified tested antibiotic resistance. Results: A total 600 blood samples suspected tested, where 32.5% came out positive, which as typhi. These isolates susceptible carbapenem drugs but highly resistant Fluoroquinolones Aminoglycosides antibiotics. Discussion: It seen that 73.23% male extensively (XDR) meaning sensitive against only one or two antibiotics while female it 58.46%. Isolates from Female showed higher (MDR) (26.15%) multiple comparison (16.54%). 87.19% high drug (XDR MDR). Conclusion: emergence XDR MDR S. years is becoming threat. Although no PAN-Drug (resistant drugs) observed current study, level are indicating scenario might take place sooner than later.

Prevalence of Multidrug (MDR) and Extensively Drug Resistant (XDR) Proteus species in a tertiary care hospital, India
The genus Proteus along with genus Providencia and Morganella belongs to the tribe Proteeae of the family Enterobacteriaceae. The genus Proteus currently consists of four named species (P.mirabilis, P.penneri, P.vulgaris, P.myxofaciens) and four unnamed genomospecies (3, 4, 5, and 6). Genomospecies 3 was named Proteus hauseri to honor Hauser who first described the genus. [13] Both P. mirabilis...

Objective: Burn wound infection is a severe complication of thermal injury. Patients with severe burn injuries need urgent care to diminish complications after severe burns. Wound infections are commonly considered one of the most serious burn complications, particularly those that are caused by extensively drug-resistant (XDR) bacteria with few therapeutic choices. The objective of this study ...
