ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF SALMONELLA SPP FROM CHICKEN MEAT IN KURDISTAN REGION

Salmonella is a bacterial diseases that caused by many strains of salmonella. Salmonellosis disease occur in human and chicken, salmonellosis poultry sometimes causes economic losses, also international trade can be affected if the salmonella presents products or meat as this case infection transmit to humans. considered most important serious pathogen bacteria responsible food borne all over world. In Kurdistan region, Erbil city common shapes are broilers backyard. This study was done inform impact epidemic chicken prevalence salmonella's genetic types serotypes among raw chickens Kurdistan, Iraq. Samples were collected from about fifty broiler suffered diarrhea, "30" patients had diarrhea signs poisoning. The serological identification after isolation "58.33%" enteritidis "41.66%" typhimurium. Serotype antigenic formula has "O" somatic antigen "1, 9, 12" flagellar "H", while serotype typhimurium 4". main source humans includes; comes consumption contaminated chicken. Scientifically, control programs based on general procedures hygiene campylobacter at holding flocks end process slaughter meat.
