Isolation and identification of microorganism’s resistant to soil salinization

315 variants of halotolerant bacteria were isolated from soil samples taken around Starobin potash deposit mined by Belaruskali concern. Nitrogen-fixing isolate CA-6 and phosphate-solubilizing Cp-1 capable to withstand abiotic stress caused sodium chloride in concentration 1710 2565 mM, respectively water deficiency characterized osmotic potential -0.20 -0.42 MPa sorted out. Isolate may dissolve phosphates yielding halo zones 9 mm diameter while displays nitrogenase activity 44.0 nM C 2 H /vial/3 days. Both isolates are growth-promoting organisms, distinguished the ability synthesize IAA concentrations 89.7 37.8 μg IAA/ml cultural liquid, respectively. The selected salt-resistant identified based on analysis nucleotide sequence 16S rRNA gene data MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry referred species Rhodococcus jostii Priestia megaterium . Halotolerant strains deposited Belarusian collection non-pathogenic microorganisms under respective registration numbers BIM B-1314D B-1353D.
