Isolation and Characterization of Lactobacillus Strains with Probiotic Potential from Dairy Products

Aims: This research aims to isolate and characterize from dairy products, in particular yogurts, cultivated Lactobacillus strains with potential for use as probiotics poultry farming.
 Study Design: consists of four parts, an introduction literature review, a description the materials methods used, finally results obtained their discussion.
 Place Duration Study: Central Veterinary Laboratory Kinshasa, specifically Bacteriology Animal Services departments, between April September 2022.
 Methodology: A yogurt was cultured order observe presence Lactobacilli MRS (Mans, Rogosa Sharp) Agar culture medium; this revealed growth Lactobacilli. It even proceeded serial dilution these strains, had also 6 test tubes used.
 Results: The showed significant increase weight (positive effect on immune system) experimental group absence pathogenicity after incubation period (inhibitory those Escherichia coli Streptococcus sp.) whereas control group, lower gain compared developed colibacillosis associated other effects such weakness, fever angina period.
 Conclusion: positive show be used farming improve health through inhibitory pathogenic sp. opens up safe alternatives fight misuse antibiotics by reducing human animal care.
