چکیده

We present new isochrone fits to colour-magnitude diagrams of the Galactic globular clusters NGC\,288, NGC\,362, and NGC\,6218 (M12). utilize a lot photometric bands from ultraviolet mid-infrared by use data {\it HST}, Gaia}, unWISE, Pan-STARRS, other sources. Photometric Observations of the Galactic Globular Clusters NGC 1904 and NGC 6341

We present multi-colour broad band CCD photometric observations of a few thousands of stars located region of the galactic globular clusters NGC 1904 and NGC 6341. These observations are used to generate their deep colour magnitude diagrams (CMDs) to study overall morphologies of sub giant, red giant, asymptotic giant and horizontal branches. We also determine the main sequence morphology of th...

Age as the Second Parameter in Ngc 288/ngc 362? Ii. the Horizontal Branch Revisited

We revisit the “second parameter” pair of globular clusters NGC 288/NGC 362 on the basis of theoretical models for red giant branch (RGB) and horizontal branch (HB) stars. The results of the most extensive set of RGB/HB simulations computed so far for these clusters are presented for two different metallicities. Using several different analytical mass loss formulae for RGB stars, we derive rela...

Globular clusters in NGC 5128 ?

We used the Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 aboard the Hubble Space Telescope to search for globular clusters in the inner regions of the nearby giant elliptical galaxy NGC 5128. This galaxy is believed to be the product of a merger between a large elliptical galaxy and a small late-type spiral between 160 and 500 Myr ago. We identified 21 globular cluster candidates and measured their core radii...

Photometric and kinematic studies of open star clusters III . NGC 4103 , NGC 5281 , and NGC 4755 ⋆ , ⋆ ⋆

We present CCD photometry and proper motion studies of the three open star clusters NGC4103, NGC5281, and NGC4755 (κ Cru). By fitting isochrones to the colour magnitude diagrams, we found that all three objects are young open star clusters with ages of at most t = 45 Myr. They are located at distances from approx. 1600 pc to 2200 pc, derived from distance moduli (m−M)0 ranging from 11 mag to 12...

Halo Surrounding the Galactic Globular Ngc 1851

Using imaging that shows four magnitudes of main sequence stars, we have discovered that the Galactic globular cluster NGC 1851 is surrounded by a halo that is visible from the tidal radius of 700 arcsec (41 pc) to more than 4500 arcsec (>250 pc). This halo is symmetric and falls in density as a power law of r. It contains approximately 0.1% of the dynamical mass of NGC 1851. There is no eviden...
