چکیده
Due to health concerns associated with the increase of antimicrobial resistance in foodborne pathogens such as Salmonella, plant extracts have become important natural alternatives known antimicrobials. The eradication effect water-soluble stinging nettle 2 mg/mL, 4 6 8 12 16 and 20 mg/mL concentrations, on pre-formed biofilms swimming motility Salmonella enterica subspecies serovars, including Newport, Typhimurium, Enteritidis, Virchow, Othmarschen Mikawasima, was investigated vitro. Degradation biofilm formation spinach inoculated each serovar ascertained within different exposure time 40 concentrated extract well. Moreover, major genes responsible for (i.e., rpoS, mlrA, ycfR, fimA, spiA csgA) were screened these isolates. significantly decreased motilities Mikawasima Virchow serovars. highest reductions found 0.88 Log CFU/mL 2.00 CFU/cm2 vitro spinach, respectively.

Exploring the Urtica dioica Leaves Hemostatic and Wound-Healing Potential
The present paper investigated the efficiency of Urtica dioica (U. dioica) on hemostatic and wound healing activities. U. dioica leaf extracts were evaluated for their antibacterial and antioxidant effects as well as their flavonoid and polyphenol content. The hydroethanolic extract (EtOH-H2OE), showing the most potent antibacterial and antioxidant activities in vitro, thanks to its flavonoid a...
