“Is there any sugar in bread?” A qualitative video analysis of student activating learning tasks in Home Economics

The Norwegian Food and Health (FH) school subject aims to develop students' ability understand the association between diet health. Research on FH in Norway indicates that main focus today is cooking development of practical skills, leaving little emphasis activities related more theoretical aspects curriculum. To increase students’ knowledge skills regarding nutrition health, we aimed evaluate three newly developed student-activating learning tasks. Three 6th grade classes Southern participated. Audio video recording tasks were used activities. Also, data from group discussions with teachers students, which conducted afterwards, was included analysis.  «Er det sukker i brød?»: En kvalitativ videoanalyse av elevaktive læringsaktiviteter Mat og Helse
 Sammendrag
 Helse (MH) skolen har som mål å utvikle elevenes evne til forstå sammenhengen mellom kosthold helse. Forskning på MH Norge indikerer at hovedfokuset dag er matlaging utvikling praktiske matlagingsferdigheter, med mindre fokus aktiviteter retter seg mot mer teoretiske innholdet læreplanen. For øke kunnskaper ferdigheter relatert ernæring helse, ønsket vi evaluere tre nyutviklede utviklet spesielt MH-faget. Tre 6. klasser Sør-Norge var utprøvingen aktivitetene, lyd- videoopptak ble brukt aktivitetene. I tillegg fra fokusgruppeintervjuer MH-lærere elever, gjennomført etterkant, inkludert analysen.
