Polystyrenesulfonate-catalyzed synthesis of novel pyrroles through Paal-Knorr reaction
BACKGROUND The classical Paal-Knorr reaction is one of the simplest and most economical methods for the synthesis of biologically important and pharmacologically useful pyrrole derivatives. RESULTS Polystyrenesulfonate-catalyzed simple synthesis of substituted pyrroles following Paal-Knorr reaction has been accomplished with an excellent yield in aqueous solution. This method also produces py...
متن کاملFlow synthesis using gaseous ammonia in a Teflon AF-2400 tube-in-tube reactor: Paal-Knorr pyrrole formation and gas concentration measurement by inline flow titration.
Using a simple and accessible Teflon AF-2400 based tube-in-tube reactor, a series of pyrroles were synthesised in flow using the Paal-Knorr reaction of 1,4-diketones with gaseous ammonia. An inline flow titration technique allowed measurement of the ammonia concentration and its relationship to residence time and temperature.

In this paper, I want to develop some concepts designed to capture the affective and relational undergirding ofpractice in areas where practice is creativc and constructive. Current conceptions of practice emphasize the habitual and mle-governed features of practice. Though much debate surrounds the exact specification of the relevant mies and habits (see most authors seem to agree that practic...
متن کامل14C-methylamine-glutaraldehyde conjugation as an alternative to iodination for protein labeling.
Radiolabeling of native proteins conventionally has required iodination using 125Iodine (125I). Although radioiodination can result in high specific activity, there are several drawbacks in the use of 125I (e.g., radiological hazards and short half-life). 14C-Methylamine-glutaraldehyde conjugation to proteins offers an alternative for radiolabeling of proteins that is safer and longer-lived alp...
