Convergent heteroditopic cyclo[6]aramides as macrocyclic ion-pair receptors for constructing [2]pseudorotaxanes.
A strategy of using amide groups as the only functionality was developed to construct convergent heteroditopic cyclo[6]aramides that are able to strongly bind dibutylammonium chloride in chloroform (>10(5) M(-1)), leading to the formation of [2]pseudorotaxanes.

A new poly(vinylchloride) membrane sensor for Cr3+ ions based on di (benzylamino)glyoxime asan ionophore was prepared. The electrode has a linear dynamic range 1×10-6-1×10-1 mol l-1,with aNernstian slope of 20.3 ± 0.5 mV per decade and a detection limit of 2×10-7. It has a fast responsetime of
متن کاملLanthanum(III) Ion Selective Electrode Based on a New Ionophore
A PVC membrane electrode based on 1-[({[(butylsulfunyl)carbothioyl]disulfanyl} carbothioyl)sulfanyl]butane as a suitable ion carrier for determination of lanthanum(III) ion was prepared. This electrode revealedsuch a good selectivity toward La3+ ion over a wide variety of other metal ions. Some experimental parametersuch as membrane composition, nature, and amount of plasticizer, the amount of ...
متن کاملSpectrophotometric Methods for Determination of Sunitinib in Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms Based on Ion-pair Complex Formation
Three rapid spectrophotometric methods were developed for the determination of sunitinib based on the formation of ion-pair complex in acidic medium with bromocresol purple, bromothymol blue, and bromophenol blue. The formed ion-pair complexes, extractable with chloroform, were measured at 422 nm for bromocresol purple, 425 nm for bromothymol blue and 427 nm for bromophenol blue. All these meth...
متن کاملSelective recognition of an alkali halide contact ion-pair.
For more than 30 years there has been an active and continued effort to develop synthetic receptors for anions and cations in organic solvents.1 We2 and others3 have shown that if both of the counterions in a target salt have localized charges then the consequent ion-pairing of the salt can dramatically lower receptor/ ion binding affinities and alter binding selectivities. One way to counter t...
