چکیده

A higher order boundary element method (HOBEM) is presented for inviscid flow passing a lifting body. In addition to the integral equation used velocity potential, similar derived and tangential on body surface. Higher elements are discretize surface, which ensures continuity of slope at nodes. The potential also expanded using shape function, in unknown coefficients involve velocity. expansion then nodes it allows Kutta condition be imposed directly through particular function near trailing edge account its sharp variations there. found solving their equations simultaneously. Through extensive comparison results Karman-Trefftz (KT) foil, shown that present HOBEM much more accurate than conventional BEM, local edge.
