Investment Decisions as a Part of Financial Literacy in the Globalized World

Research background: The role of knowledge and information in today’s globalized world is growing. Individual approach investment preferences play a significant on global scale, especially for young adults, who can make full use tools. Purpose the article: aim this paper to assess attitude amongst university students with focus risk, availability, profitability. Methods: Primary data were obtained by quantitative research using questionnaire survey (n = 1 437) 2018 time bachelor’s master’s degree at three selected universities. universities economy agriculture each them based different region Czech Republic. In analytical part article, testing statistical hypotheses was applied. Findings & Value added: results show that, terms 79.19% respondents prefer least risky approach. Subsequently, question whether an available when needed also plays important it preferred 70.70% respondents. Profitability 66.59% Statistical evaluation proved dependence between gender responses mentioned above (women less investments as well those immediately them; other hand, men more profitable than women).
