Investigations on structural, optical, and impedance spectroscopy studies of titanium dioxide nanoparticles

This article explains a novel synthesis for producing titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles by sol-gel technique using tetraisopropoxide as source. The synthesized were analyzed many measurements like X-ray diffraction (XRD), HRTEM, absorption UV spectroscopy, FTIR, and ac impedance spectroscopy. peaks used to calculate the crystallite size lattice strain Williamson–Hall method. Crystallite calculated from x-ray Scherrer equation gives an approximate cannot be measurements. TiO2 are found possess tetragonal structure with crystalline around 12 nm. Particle was confirmed HRTEM images. optical studies response showed possible visible 323 Bandgap energy (Eg) of nanoparticle spectra is discussed, bandgap 3.14 eV. FTIR vibration bands Ti-O network. AC Conductivity properties studied in frequency range 1 8 MHz at varying temperatures. conductivity constant low angular region. Dielectric parameters different temperatures frequencies.
