Investigation on the Performance of Domestic Refrigerator with Zirconium Oxide-R134a Nanorefrigerant

This study investigates the performance of nanorefrigerants (R134a-ZrO2) in a domestic refrigerator at concentration 0.2 g/l without changing components. Nanoparticles ZrO2 g/L with particle size 1-10 nm and 140 g R134a have been charged, investigations were carried out. Energy consumption pull-down tests conducted to investigate refrigerator. The parameters like refrigeration capacity, compressor power, discharge temperature, coefficient performance, energy investigated for nanorefrigerant (R134a-ZrO2), results compared base refrigerant R134a. pull downtime, consumption, temperature are reduced increased COP power when system is operated R134a-ZrO2 nanorefrigerant. Also, thermophysical properties calculated analyzed various volume fraction nanoparticles.
