چکیده

This work is devoted to the problem of effect a powerful ultra-short duration electromagnetic radiation on superconducting protection device as load antenna-feeder circuit radioelectronic systems. The above used in monitoring systems land surface benefit agriculture, geodesy, mapping, and ocean surfaces, and, also, atmospheric layers, remote control engineering industry related branches. goal was achieved by substantiation approach description arbitrary antenna response radiation, using system frequency response. most significant result offered relationship determination between influence its characteristics mode. sought showed that, such are input impedance complex normalized pattern mode at an frequency. significance results obtainment analytical relations estimate under consideration that superconducting, mixed normal phase states. peculiarity obtained makes it possible consider coordination degree based thin film. Conversion energy into induced currents’ basis for selection structural calculation devices radio electronic facilities against build upon microstrip transmission lines.

Electromagnetic radiation from superconducting string cusps

Cusps in superconducting cosmic strings produce strongly beamed electromagnetic radiation. To calculate the energy emitted requires taking into account the effect of the charge carriers on the string motion, which has previously been done only heuristically. Here, we use the known exact solution to the equations of motion for the case where the current is chiral to update previous calculations ...

Monitoring patients with implanted cardiac rhythm devices receiving radiation therapy.

629 D iagnosed in 2007 with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), S.B. was a 78-year-old man. Treatment consisted of a course of rituxumab with stable blood counts. About two years after the initial diagnosis, S.B. presented with a moderately rapidly enlarging mass in his left-anterior shoulder. Biopsy of the mass revealed a Merkel cell carcinoma and, within a month, another mass was noted in his...

Numerical Investigation of Monitoring Antenna Influence on Shielding Effectiveness Characterization

─ This paper deals with an impact of receiving antenna placed in a metal enclosure on an electromagnetic field distribution within the enclosure, and thus on its shielding effectiveness. In an experimental setup, a frequently used tool for measuring the electromagnetic field level at certain points within the enclosure is a dipole antenna connected to a measuring instrument via a coaxial cable....

, e . g . , superconducting transducers between electromagnetic and gravitational radiation ?

One of the conceptual tensions between quantum mechanics (QM) and general relativity (GR) arises from the clash between the spatial nonseparability of entangled states in QM, and the complete spatial separability of all physical systems in GR, i.e., between nonlocality implied by the superposition principle, and locality implied by the equivalence principle. Experimental consequences of this co...

Far-infrared radiation response of antenna-coupled quantum-effect devices

This thesis explores the high-frequency transport characteristics of two quantum effect devices: the quantum point contact and the lateral dual gate field-effect transistor (FET). Electron transport in these devices is predominantly phase coherent, since transport takes place in two-dimensional electron gas with high mobility. Phasecoherent devices can detect radiation with quantum-limited sens...
