Investigating the Inhibitory Effect of Probiotic <i>Lactobacillus</i> Species Isolated From Dairy Products

Background: Lactobacilli are among the most important known probiotic species, and efforts underway to isolate them from various sources. The beneficial effect of probiotics on health is main reason for their wide use in dairy products, including yogurt. This research was conducted identify Lactobacillus species present traditional Iranian Methods: Thirty samples yogurt were collected different regions Gachsaran district south Iran. Bacterial isolations performed according standard international protocols. Following successive culturing selective media, obtaining typical colonies, conducting microscopic examinations, five isolates selected analyzed anti-microbial activities against three bacteria two pathogenic fungi. To confirm biochemical results, bacterial molecular analysis identified by 16S rRNA sequencing. Results: paracasei JCM1171 with 1384 nucleotides plantarum subsp. Plantarum.A1 1380 isolated based investigations. related strain A, least effects belonged X3. Moreover, applied microorganisms, Staphylococcus aureus fungus, Aspergillus niger had highest sensitivity. Conclusion: Probiotic have highly host, mechanism action through functions such as production bioactive compounds. In addition this bacterium has potential be non-dairy products even plant issue can an idea other sources new potential.
