چکیده
The third observing run of the LIGO-Virgo Collaboration has resulted in many gravitational wave detections, including binary neutron star merger GW190425. However, none these events have been accompanied with an electromagnetic transient found during extensive follow-up searches. In this article, we perform new numerical-relativity simulations and black hole-neutron systems that a chirp mass consistent Assuming GW190425's sky location was covered sufficient accuracy searches, investigate whether nondetection kilonova is compatible source parameters estimated through gravitational-wave analysis how one can use information to place constraints on properties system. Our suggest GW190425 incompatible unequal ratio $q<0.8$ when considering stiff or moderately equations state if face by observation. shows detailed observational result for kilonovae will be useful constrain stars future events.

متن کاملNumerical relativity simulations in the era of the Einstein Telescope
Numerical-relativity (NR) simulations of compact binaries are expected to be an invaluable tool in gravitational-wave (GW) astronomy. The sensitivity of future detectors such as the Einstein Telescope (ET) will place much higher demands on NR simulations than firstand second-generation ground-based detectors. We discuss the issues facing compact-object simulations over the next decade, with an ...
متن کاملHigh-Order Numerical-Relativity Simulations of Binary Neutron Stars
We report simulations of the inspiral and merger of binary neutron stars performed with WhiskyTHC, the first of a new generation of numerical relativity codes employing higher than second-order methods for both the spacetime and the hydrodynamic evolution. We find that the use of higher-order schemes improves substantially the quality of the gravitational waveforms extracted from the simulation...
متن کاملNumerical Relativity
Solutions to Einstein’s equations of general relativity describe, among other things, the generation and propagation of gravitational waves. Interest in numerical relativity has been bolstered by the recent construction of gravitational wave observatories such as LIGO (the Laser Interferometric Gravitational-wave Observatory). This NSF-supported project consists of two observatories (near Hanfo...
