چکیده
Recently, Hong, Mertens, Ono, and Zhang [8] proved a conjecture of Căldăraru, He, Huang [4] that expresses the Taylor series modular j-function around elliptic points i $$\rho =e^{\pi i/3}$$ as rational functions arising from signature 2 3 cases Ramanujan’s theory to alternative bases. We extend these results give inversion formulas for $$ Gauss’ hypergeometric in signatures 4 6.

New Inversion Formulas for the Krätzel Transformation
We study in distributional sense by means of the kernel method an integral transform introduced by Krätzel. It is well known that the cited transform generalizes to the Laplace and Meijer transformation. Properties of analyticity, boundedness, and inversion theorems are established for the generalized transformation. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. Primary 44A15, 46F12.

Let F (z) = z − H(z) with o(H(z)) ≥ 2 be a formal map from Cn to Cn and G(z) the formal inverse of F (z). In this paper, we give two recurrent formulas for the formal inverse G(z). The first formula not only provides an efficient method for the calculation of G(z), but also reduces the inversion problem to a Cauchy problem of a partial differential equation. The second one is differential free ...

متن کاملPositive and Sign-changing Clusters around Saddle Points of the Potential for Nonlinear Elliptic Problems
We study the existence and asymptotic behavior of positive and sign-changing multipeak solutions for the equation −ε∆v + V (x)v = f(v) in R , where ε is a small positive parameter, f is a superlinear, subcritical and odd nonlinearity, V is a uniformly positive potential. No symmetry on V is assumed. It is known ([19]) that this equation has positive multipeak solutions with all peaks approachin...

We solve the following \intermediate" problem of integral geometry: to reconstruct integrals of a function over p-dimensional planes in R n starting from its integrals over k-planes, where p < k. Some generalizations are also presented.
