Intrusive images, autobiographical memories, and core beliefs of patients with an eating disorder

This study aimed to assess the characteristics and content of intrusive images in patients with eating disorders, test relations between images, core beliefs autobiographical memories. As an exploratory aim, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa binge disorders were compared on level dissociation associated images. Self-report questionnaire data collected from 85 disorder. Most participants (91.7%) experienced related body weight shape self-worth, results confirms that these highly distressing vivid. We found linked memories, negative positively beliefs. Eating disorder subtypes did not differ Our findings point potential importance targeting or memories treatment disorders.
