چکیده
Background: Osteoarthritis is a slowly progressive disease of the diarthrodial joints. With articular cartilage degeneration, chondrocytes undergo mitosis and clustering. Degeneration changes its biomechanical, biochemical, structural properties. Numerous, non-invasive treatment options are available with emphasis on pain management, improvement in function potential to modify process progress degeneration. Platelets contain many growth factors, cytokines, bioactive proteins which help regulate tissue healing restoration. Autologous Platelet rich plasma contains very high concentration platelets above baseline levels hence disease. Methods: We conducted study 70 knees diagnosed as having Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) Grade 2-4 knee. Rich was prepared injected into affected knee joint. The group followed up at 1 week, 4 weeks, 12 weeks. Clinical outcome analysis done for efficacy basis WOMAC score NRS Score. Statistical data performed P-value calculated. Results: Results obtained after statistical suggested an overall all grades Improvement patients early stages more comparison that seen late stages. Conclusion: Plasma therapy effective option improve clinical outcomes It has advantage giving satisfactory outcomes. Also, it low cost, minimally invasive safe application.

Purpose Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid (HA) have been increasingly used in recent years to treat knee osteoarthritis (OA). However, whether PRP is superior to HA is controversial. Methods We conducted an electronic search of PubMed, Embase, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane library. The pooled data were analyzed using RevMan 5.1. Results Three prospective and ten randomized trials...

Introduction Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic joint disease that usually occurs in older people and leads to pain and disabilities. OA treatment ranges from drug therapy to surgery. Drug and rehabilitation therapy are preferred over surgery, and, especially, there is a tendency toward compounds causing regenerative changes in the knee joint. In the present study, the effects of platelet-rich pl...
