چکیده
Aim: We investigated the effects of continuous or interval aerobic exercise training on vascular reactivity female rats fed with fructose. Methods: Female Wistar (8-wk old) were divided into: sedentary (SD), (CTR), and (ITR). Moderate intensity protocols consisted running 3 days/week for 7 weeks. CTR ran 40 min at 30%–40% maximal speed (MS) TRI sets 1 70% MS followed by 35% MS. Animals standard chow fructose (10%) in drinking water. Concentration-response curves to acetylcholine phenylephrine, oxidative stress biomarkers, determined aorta. Body weight gain, visceral fat, plasma triglycerides glucose also evaluated. Results: Endothelium-dependent relaxation was significantly increased both regimens (CTR: Emax = 85 ± 6% ITR: 84 1%) compared (SD: 62 5%). The contractile response not different but phenylephrine potency (pEC50: 8.41 0.19) reduced ITR 7.06 0.11) SD 7.77 0.08). In addition, generation superoxide lower trained groups as (about −28% −22% ITR). TBARS nitrate/nitrite levels modified. Compared group, gained 39% less body has 29% fat. Glucose Conclusion: ITR, carried out days/week, efficient improve endothelium-dependent reduce aorta from

Zataria multiflora increases insulin sensitivity and PPARγ gene expression in high fructose fed insulin resistant rats
Objective(s):In insulin resistance, the insulin action in liver, muscles and adipocytes decreases and result in hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia and hyperinsulinemia. In this study we evaluate the effect of Zataria multiflora extract on insulin sensitivity in high fructose fed insulin resistant rats, since this extract was shown antihyperglycemic effect in streptozotocin induced diabetes in rats. ...

متن کاملInterval and continuous exercise enhances aerobic capacity and hemodynamic function in CHF rats
OBJECTIVE The aim of the present study was to compare the effects of continuous versus interval aerobic exercise training on hemodynamic parameters, cardiac remodeling, and maximal exercise capacity (MEC) in chronic heart failure (CHF) rats. METHOD Twenty-four male Wistar rats were subjected to myocardial infarction (MI) surgery. Five weeks post MI, the animals were assigned to one of three g...
متن کاملAerobic interval training vs. continuous moderate exercise in the metabolic syndrome of rats artificially selected for low aerobic capacity.
AIMS The recent development of a rat model that closely resembles the metabolic syndrome allows to study the mechanisms of amelioration of the syndrome by exercise training. Here, we compared the effectiveness for reducing cardiovascular risk factors by exercise training programmes of different exercise intensities. METHODS AND RESULTS Metabolic syndrome rats were subjected to either continuo...
متن کاملEffect of 8-Week Aerobic, Strength and Concurrent Training on Circulating Apelin in Morphine-Dependent Rats
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives: Previous studies have shown that morphine dependence leads to myocardial dysfunction. In addition, apelin plays a protective role in cardiac function. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of morphine dependence and three models of exercise training on serum apelin level of dependent and healthy ...
