Internists' Satisfaction with Clinical Laboratories Services of Basra City: A Pilot Study

Background: The quality of laboratory services is a very important tool for patient care. Medical decisions in diagnosing disease and providing appropriate treatment mainly depends on the results tests jointly with clinical examination interview. So this study was conducted to assess confidence internists analyze strengths limitations imposed these services. Method: A cross sectional among 53 respondent from government private sector laboratories Basra Governorate 1st April 30th May 2022. This included doctors specialized internal medicine public hospitals clinics. structured, self-administered questionnaire used, which consisted 2-5 point Likert scale questions 22 survey principles two main sections: personal information data provided by laboratories. Results: Respondents' mean age 50.62 years experience 20. Most respondents male nearly half them held doctorate or Arab/Iraqi board medical specializations' degrees. general-confidence 58.5%.
