Probiotics (PR) and intermittent fasting (IF) are believed to alleviate dysbiosis, which contributes Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) pathogenesis. Our study investigated the effect of PR, IF, their combination (IP) on in a rat model induced by high-fat diet (HFD) We used 40 male rats, were randomly assigned one five groups: control (fed standard chow), HFD for 12 weeks), PR (HFD weeks + probiotics (a daily dose 10 × 109 CFU orally last 4 IF alternate day (ADF) IP orally) ADF weeks).
