Interlanguage in recount writing text on 8th grade secondary school student

چکیده

This study attempts to analyze interlanguage production made by ten eight-grade students who were enrolled in one of the secondary schools Jakarta. Interlanguage happens when a learner talk target language but their linguistic framework is still source (any prior they knew beforehand). It intended explore kinds that occur recount writing and explain potentials why errors emerge writing. The data requires text produced participants this present study. employed qualitative research design it was specifically presented using descriptive case Furthermore, document analysis as procedure collecting analyzing result showed based on students' writing, detected from way formed passive sentences, incorrect verb agreement, unparalleled L1 L2 translation. In sense, can be concluded due tendency which dominated minds producing language. Thus, should assisted practice correct rules English especially prevent any possible fossilization.
