Interface Passivation of Perovskite Solar Cells by Fmoc-Ala-OH Amino Acids

Carrier recombination at the interfaces of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has always been one main limitations device performance. How to restrain generation defect state on film surface and improve carrier extraction efficiency are crucial break bottleneck. Herein, influence an amino acid-based N-(9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)-L-alanine (Fmoc-Ala-OH) molecule quality thus performance were investigated. Varied concentrations (0 mg/mL, 0.5 1 1.5 mg/ mL, 2 mg/mL) Fmoc-Ala-OH explored, mg/mL was found be optimal passivation concentration for films. This strategy could reduce PbI2 impurity, prolong lifetime, enhance luminescence Space charge limited current results indicated a lower density surface. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed decreased transfer resistance increased after acid passivation. As result, power conversion 21.14% with high Voc 1.08 V obtained modified device.
