INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION COMPETENCE: A SCALE ADAPTATION STUDY

چکیده
Kültürlerarası iletişim yetkinliğine yönelik olarak literatürde çalışmaların bulunmasına rağmen, yapılan bu büyük bir kısmında nitel yaklaşım benimsemiştir. Nicel araştırma yapılabilmesi için kültürlerarası yetkinliği ölçeği ilk Arasaratnam (2009) tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Mevcut çalışma, tarafında geliştirilen ölçeğin Türkçeye uyarlanması, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarının yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu maksatla Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı’ndan seyahat eden yolculardan veri toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS AMOS yazılımları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlar ölçeğinin geçerli güvenilir ölçme aracı olduğunu doğrulamaktadır.
