Inter- and Mixed Cropping of Different Varieties Improves High-Temperature Tolerance during Flowering of Summer Maize

Global warming increases the risk of high-temperature injury to maize. Inter- and mixed-cropping maize varieties with different genotypes is one way effectively alleviate during flowering period. However, mitigation effect intercropping modes on still unclear. Based previous years field production, Denghai 605, which more sensitive high temperatures period, was determined as main test variety, Zhengdan 958, Dedan 5, Weike 702, Xianyu 335, have great genotypic differences, were used auxiliary varieties. The intercropped mixed cropped, respectively.
