Integration of Image-Based Fog Detection with Autonomous Decision System for Intelligent Road Sign

Abstract The paper presents the description of decision system implemented for Intelligent Road Signs. It focuses on implementation novel air transparency analysis and its integration with rule speed control infrastructure. Moreover, there are presented issues making decisions about content displayed in case autonomous cooperating signs. To reflect more closely real-life situations, it is assumed that by IRS changes dynamically, depending road traffic weather parameters. operation was using fog detection as an example.
