چکیده
In recent years, most cities have faced great demand for electricity supply due to rapid population growth and industrialization. Supplying sufficient electrical energy, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, is one of the major concerns policymakers scientists all over world. Saudi Arabia, local authorities are increasingly aware necessity environmental impact nonrenewable energy by exploring alternative sustainable sources improving buildings’ efficiency. Recently, building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) technology has been regarded as a promising generating instantaneous buildings. To achieve substantial contribution regarding zero buildings, solar should be widely used in residential buildings within urban context. This paper examines how an appropriate model integrating photovoltaics on rooftop Hail city provide sources. The estimated areas city, utilizable PV application were calculated. Using PV*SOL simulation software, performance ratio system efficiency, well annual output several tilt angles, determined presented. amount expected when using effective roof area was also CO2 emissions that could reduced result estimated. results show significant suitable which exceeds 9 million square meters. It research would develop innovative building design strategies specifications allowing better climate well.

Towards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings in Europe: A Focus on Retrofit in Non-Residential Buildings
Buildings are the focus of European (EU) policies aimed at a sustainable and competitive low-carbon economy by 2020. Reducing energy consumption of existing buildings and achieving nearly zero energy buildings (NZEBs) are the core of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and the recast of the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). To comply with these requirements, Member States have ...
متن کاملEnergy Consumption Modeling in Residential Buildings
In recent years, the issue of energy consumption modeling techniques in the building sector has been widely considered by researchers and managers. Researches indicate that energy consumption in residential sector is one of the main parts of the total consumption. Moreover, the urban residence is supposed as a significant consumer of energy in every country and therefore a focus for energy cons...

This paper studies a nonlinear predictive energy management strategy for a residential building with a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system and second-life lithium-ion battery energy storage. A key novelty of this manuscript is closing the gap between building energy management formulations, advanced load forecasting techniques, and nonlinear battery/PV models. Additionally, we focus on the fundame...
متن کاملDemand Response and Energy Storage for Zero Energy Residential Buildings
The EU climate and energy targets and the decreasing costs have been leading to a growing utilization of solar photovoltaic generation in residential buildings. However, even in buildings with the same level of yearly generation and consumption the mismatch between the demand and the photovoltaic generation profiles leads to high power flows between the household and the grid, which is an ineff...
