Integrating Environment with Health: An Islamic Perspective

With the increasing challenge of addressing environmental health issues, various approaches have been proposed to reduce problems. For Muslims all over world, Qur’an, Hadith, and Sunnah are recognised as authoritative messages for spiritual behavioural guidance on how humans can react protect environment health. This review aims integrate with from perspective Islam. An exploration Qur’anic, Muslim scholar views articles was carried out identify issues. Integrating Islamic aspects into includes: (i) dimensions natural social environments; (ii) including disease, wellness, intellectual health, transcendence, Qalbe Salim; (iii) principles that be used describe people’s attitudes towards through unity, balance, responsibility. Differences between Western include taqwa-centric is highest level responsibility, religious duty serving key driver activity. About 89 verses were identified in 42 Qur’anic chapters, a strong emphasis aspect relation water, biodiversity, corruption earth, waste minimisation, climate change. The Hadith highlight cleanliness another important value ethics, focusing conservation. Current future research trends may able gaps concerning handling which then implemented educational system.
