Integrating Agile Waveforms With DBF for HRWS SAR Imagery and Adaptive Jamming Suppression

Range ambiguity resolving and deceptive jamming suppression are both challenges for high-resolution wide-swath SAR imagery. With the accommodation of digital beamforming (DBF) techniques, agile waveforms potential to tackle ambiguity-resolving antijamming tasks simultaneously. In this article, an algorithm blending elevation DBF is proposed imagery adaptive suppression. A shift-stepped Costas DFC (SSC-DFC) waveform developed with optimal shifted orthogonality. Compared orthogonal smeared ambiguous energy, SSC-DFC can provide precise energy position spatial filter construction. Meanwhile, cyclic shifts coherence minimizes azimuth residual after Doppler filtering. serial designed false target extraction jammer location estimation. The direction notch only added in area while executing wide image deblurring. subregion avoids dark strip final effectively. Extensive simulation has been presented verify practicability scheme.
