A wavelet method for stochastic Volterra integral equations and its application to general stock model
In this article,we present a wavelet method for solving stochastic Volterra integral equations based on Haar wavelets. First, we approximate all functions involved in the problem by Haar Wavelets then, by substituting the obtained approximations in the problem, using the It^{o} integral formula and collocation points then, the main problem changes into a system of linear or nonlinear equation w...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of translation metacognitive strategy questionnaire and its application to translation quality
like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...
Holonomic Gradient Descent and its Application to Fisher-Bingham Integral
The gradient descent is a general method to find a local minimum of a smooth function f(z1, . . . , zd). The method utilizes the observation that f(p) decreases if one goes from a point z = p to a “nice” direction, which is usually −(∇f)(p). As textbooks on optimizations present (see, e.g., [5], [16]), we have a lot of achievements on this method and its variations. We suggest a new variation o...
متن کاملQuantization of linear algebra and its application to integral geometry
In order to construct good generating systems of two-sided ideals in the universal enveloping algebra of a complex reductive Lie algebra, we quantize some notions of linear algebra, such as minors, elementary divisors, and minimal polynomials. The resulting systems are applied to the integral geometry on various homogeneous spaces of related real Lie groups.
متن کاملBilinear Fourier integral operator and its boundedness
We consider the bilinear Fourier integral operatorS(f, g)(x) =ZRdZRdei1(x,)ei2(x,)(x, , ) ˆ f()ˆg()d d,on modulation spaces. Our aim is to indicate this operator is well defined onS(Rd) and shall show the relationship between the bilinear operator and BFIO onmodulation spaces.
