Insurance as an Alternative for Sustainable Economic Recovery after Natural Disasters: A Systematic Literature Review

The risk of natural disasters has increased over the last few decades, leading to significant economic losses across globe. In response, research related loss due continued develop. At present, insurance remains best solution for funding such losses. purpose this study is analyse development as an alternative sustainable recovery after disasters. data used are articles obtained from several sources indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar. search resulted in a final database 266 articles, culled total 813 before selection was made. publications 2000–2021 (including 21 periods), which we applied systematic literature review method.
