INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN FORMATIF BERBASIS HOTS PENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA (POKOK BAHASAN TEORI KINETIK GAS)

This study aims to determine the validity of HOTS assessment instrument, reliability instrument from test instrument. The was carried out in class XII MIPA 7 and 8 at SMA Negeri 2 Jember even semester. used this research is form 20 essay questions on kinetic theory gases. a descriptive using quantitative approach through ADDIE modeling. results showed that average value level 91.11% degree coefficient r11 0.9156. analysis difficulty items contained 14 were feasible or acceptable 6 not because they had accordance with criteria for good distinguishing power items, where show there are 12 suitable use some improvement be have bad category do match discriminating power. students' critical thinking skills solving physics problems gas material as measured higher order skill (HOTS) could categorized moderate.
