چکیده
Accurate estimation of genetic relationships among breeding materials and their diversity contributes to the optimal design programs. For Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.), an important indigenous tree species in China, breeders have attempted employ different molecular markers address architecture target population, but power advanced parent population with a complex pedigree relationship is still rather limited. In this study, partly known map combined marker-derived (SSRs SNPs) information was implemented for first time assessment relatedness (n = 50) fir. The bivariate analysis showed that coefficients between individuals based on SSRs were significantly correlated SNPs (r 0.690, p < 0.01). Moreover, heatmap generated by SSR-based coefficient matrix largely consistent derived from SNP-based matrix. Additionally, STRUCTURE ADMIXTURE analyses two analogical clustering result. When compared recorded information, estimated broadly parallel relatedness. These results indicated can be used as effective tools clarify when complete records are not available Based markers, present study revealed relatively wide variation (SSRs: PIC 0.573; SNPs: 0.231) selected trees. This investigation provides input into progress advanced-generation breeding.

Ion Flux in Roots of Chinese Fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) under Aluminum Stress
Chinese fir is a tall, fast-growing species that is unique to southern China. In Chinese fir plantations, successive plantings have led to a decline in soil fertility, and aluminum toxicity is thought to be one of the main reasons for this decline. In this study, Non-invasive Micro-test Technology was used to study the effect of aluminum stress on the absorption of 4 different ions in the roots...
متن کاملIsolation of High-Quality Total RNA from Chinese Fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook)
RNA isolation with RNA in a high quantity is a basic analytical method in plant genetics, molecular biology and related physiological investigations. To understand the genetic and molecular biology of Chinese fir, sufficient high-quality total RNA must be obtained for cDNA library construction and other downstream molecular applications. However, extracting RNA from Chinese fir is difficult and...
متن کاملDetection of SNPs based on DNA specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing in Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook)
Compared to angiosperms, conifers represent more complex genomes with larger giga-genome size. To detect large-scale single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), whole genome sequencing of a conifer population is still unaffordable. In this work, we report the use of DNA specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing (SLAF-seq) for large-scale SNP detection in Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lam...
متن کاملStability of soil organic carbon changes in successive rotations of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) plantations.
The importance of soil organic carbon (SOC) under forests in the global carbon cycle depends on the stability of the soil carbon and its availability to soil microbial biomass. We investigated the effects of successive rotations of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook) plantations on the stability of SOC and its availability to microbes by adopting the two-step hydrolysis with H2SO...
متن کاملIsolation and characterization of microsatellite loci for Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.
As a result of human activities, wild populations of Cunninghamia lanceolata (Cupressaceae) have sharply declined in recent years. The development and implementation of a valid conservation strategy require a clear understanding of the genetic makeup of this species. Eleven polymorphic microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized from samples of 52 individuals from the Provenance Test Pl...
