Summary Inherited ichthyoses are a group of genodermatoses classified as either nonsyndromic or syndromic. Nonsyndromic and keratitis, ichthyosis deafness (KID) syndrome predispose to fungal infection. The diagnosis treatment infections underlying challenging.
