چکیده

This paper investigates an air-ground integrated multi-access edge computing system, which is deployed by infrastructure provider (InP). Under a business agreement with the InP, third-party service provides services to subscribed mobile users (MUs). MUs compete for shared spectrum and resources over time achieve their distinctive goals. From perspective of MU, we deliberately define age update capture staleness information from refreshing computation outcomes. Given system dynamics, model interactions among as stochastic game. In Nash equilibrium without cooperation, each MU behaves in accordance local states conjectures. We can hence transform game into single-agent Markov decision process. As another major contribution, develop online deep reinforcement learning (RL) scheme that adopts two separate double Q-networks approximate Q-factor post-decision Q-factor, respectively. The RL allows optimize behaviours unknown dynamic statistics. Numerical experiments show our proposed outperforms baselines terms average utility under various conditions.

Learning-Based Task Offloading for Vehicular Cloud Computing Systems

Vehicular cloud computing (VCC) is proposed to effectively utilize and share the computing and storage resources on vehicles. However, due to the mobility of vehicles, the network topology, the wireless channel states and the available computing resources vary rapidly and are difficult to predict. In this work, we develop a learning-based task offloading framework using the multi-armed bandit (...

Joint Service Caching and Task Offloading for Mobile Edge Computing in Dense Networks

Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) pushes computing functionalities away from the centralized cloud to the network edge, thereby meeting the latency requirements of many emerging mobile applications and saving backhaul network bandwidth. Although many existing works have studied computation offloading policies, service caching is an equally, if not more important, design topic of MEC, yet receives muc...

Joint Task Offloading and Resource Allocation for Multi-Server Mobile-Edge Computing Networks

Mobile-Edge Computing (MEC) is an emerging paradigm that provides a capillary distribution of cloud computing capabilities to the edge of the wireless access network, enabling rich services and applications in close proximity to the end users. In this article, a MEC enabled multi-cell wireless network is considered where each Base Station (BS) is equipped with a MEC server that can assist mobil...

Freshness-Aware Thompson Sampling

To follow the dynamicity of the user’s content, researchers have recently started to model interactions between users and the ContextAware Recommender Systems (CARS) as a bandit problem where the system needs to deal with exploration and exploitation dilemma. In this sense, we propose to study the freshness of the user’s content in CARS through the bandit problem. We introduce in this paper an ...
