The Covid 19 pandemic requires critical re-evaluation of the way Higher Education can help students maximise their learning to adjust and adapt a new reality. This holistic approach which extends beyond consideration student in formal settings understanding role informal play. Whilst research exists on independent learning, less focus has been placed how collaborate informally as part process. In this study interviews with HE Spain UK offer insight into variable but beneficial collaborative (ICL) practices. value attributed ICL emphasises its potential contribution current educational landscape merit recognising it distinct concept. Further, uneven access learner maturity signal for universities enhance increase by playing an active developing skills personal networks.
