چکیده

Two field trials were conducted to determine the effect of P-K solubilizing bacteria and nitrogen chemical fertilizer on growth, yield nitrate in leaf mustard greens Brassica juncea L.) cultivated acid sulfate soils. Eight bacterial strains composed 3 Acinetobacter calcoaceticus 5 Rhizobium sp., liquid directly watered into plant at stages [6, 12 21 days after planting] during vegetable cultivation, (60N – 40 P2O5 20 K2O) control (no-inoculation). The study revealed that eight have good characteristics as fixation, phosphate potassium solubilisation. Application concentration, increasing concentration greens. with strain NT4 NT30 strain, tropici N18 leguminosarum K35 soils (basal fertilizer: was best cultural practice because this model not only supported highest biomass, but also decreased

Effect of cadaverine on Brassica juncea (L.) under multiple stress.

The cadaverine (Cad), an organic diamine was examined for its response on growth in salinity and metal stressed B. juncea cv RH-30 vis-à-vis compared the response of ammonium nitrate. The Cad (1 mM) application ameliorated the effect caused by salinity and metal stress on seed germination and plant growth. The plant growth recovery (dry biomass accumulation) was dependent on stress and diamine ...

Variability of Fatty Acid Composition in Interspecific Hybrids of Mustard Brassica Juncea and Brassica Napus

In Sri Lanka, mustard (Brassica juncea) is cultivated as a subsidiary crop for the seeds used as a condiment in cooking. In the Indian sub-continent, however, it is an important oilseed crop used as a source of vegetable oil. Mustard has over 45% erucic acid (C22:1) which is unsuitable nutritionally for human consumption. The Brassica oilseed species, B. napus and B. campestris, were developed ...
