چکیده
Self-compacting mortars are achieving a great deal in the construction industry due to their remarkable characteristics and advantages over conventional concrete. The main drawback associated with self-compacting is high cost ingredients used production of mortars. This research aims overcome this by combining effects nano-silica glass powder on properties mortar at normal higher temperatures. experiments were conducted determine split tensile strength range curing periods after being subjected various Durability mortar, such as sorptivity, also studied compared control mortar. In addition, chloride penetration resistance studied. microstructure properties, X-ray diffraction FTIR studies, performed analyze micro level. proposed design can solve problem disposal waste glass, prevent depletion natural river aggregates prove be effective for massive purposes.

Comparative Study on Effects of Fly Ash, Nano Silica and Silica Fume on Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Self Compacting Concrete
Self Compacting concrete (SCC) is a flowing concrete that is able to consolidate under its own weight without any need for vibration. The high fluid nature of SCC makes it suitable for placing it in difficult conditions and in sections with congested reinforcement. Use of SCC overcomes the difficulties pertaining to casting conditions and reduces the man power required. Self compacting concrete...
متن کاملHydrophilicity of Silica Nano-Porous Thin Films: Calcination Temperature Effects
In this research work, silica nano-porous thin films were deposited on glass substrates by layer by layer method. The thin films were calcinated at various calcination temperatures (200, 300, 400, and 500 °C). The morphology, surface characteristics, surface roughness and hydrophilic properties of the thin films were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy, attenuated total ...
متن کاملInfluence of Silica Fume on the Properties of Self Compacting Concrete
A self-compacting concrete (SCC) is the one that can be placed in the form and can go through obstructions by its own weight and without the need of vibration. Since its first development in Japan in 1988, SCC has gained wider acceptance in Japan, Europe and USA due to its inherent distinct advantages. Although there are visible signs of its gradual acceptance in the North Africa through its li...
متن کاملExperimental Study of the Combined Use of Fiber and Nano Silica Particles on the Properties of Lightweight Self Compacting Concrete
In fiber concretes, microcracks in the boundary area between the cement paste and the surface of aggregates or fibers are higher. Natural and artificial pozzolans can be used for reinforcing this area. In this research, the combination of glass fiber, zeolite, and nano silica particles were used in lightweight self-compacting concrete containing scoria. Fiber volume fractions between 0% to 1.5%...
