The importance of appropriate offshore wind turbine (OWT) monopile structural modelling technique cannot be overstated in the successful design and installation a new generation larger heavier structures to deliver increasing capacity demand. lack clear guidance acceptable techniques across industry results range conservative but expensive techniques.
